Electronic Arts have today officially taken over Codemasters.
Lots of negative feedback about this on social media.
WRC '23 coming sooner than expected ?

I wouldn't be surprised, they are working on it for a few years.. They started to develop it as Dirt Rally 3 in 2020 (it was teased in their blog post), which should have released in 2022, but they merged both series as they reportedly didn't want to release two similar games in a span of a year.
Looks like we will get WRC game with a bunch of pretty historic cars (and hopefully World RX too), instead of just a few not very well-made cars. Also there were insider leak that stated that there will be feature that let you build rally car from the scratch, which could be a huge feature, although a bit against irl rallying.

Latest news - WRC 23 reportedly suffers a delay.
Rumours have claimed WRC 23 will launch earlier than usual in July, but this is seemingly no longer the case.
Reliable leaker billbil-kun claims WRC 23 has been hit with an internal delay and will now launch later this year before 1 November. If so, this will put WRC 23 in line with the launch period of KT Racing's WRC games, which usually released between September and November.
EA Sports WRC launched three weeks ago. It got a Metacritic score of 81 for Windows, and 75 for PS5 and XSX.
